District should rent, not build
To the Editor:
It seems obvious that the School District Central Office and Special Services building no longer works for the town employees.
My question is, why build a new building versus moving to a leased space? There are many vacant business properties around town, many close to the current location.
Why invest in the capital expense, along with all the other maintenance, landscaping etc., when renting could provide an excellent, cost-effective space?
