To the Editor:

Merrimack’s town election is right around the corner and we are fortunate to have a strong candidate for Town Council in Lenette Peterson. She is one of three candidates vying for two open seats.

Lenette is nearing the end of her second term as a state representative where her record in faithfully representing the residents of Merrimack is impeccable. She takes her role as a public servant seriously as evidenced by her exemplary attendance record – among the best in the state – and her commitment to engage in discourse with local residents on issues before the Legislature. Finally, her consistent record in voting for local control, low taxes and smaller government make her a perfect fit for the Town Council. We have a stellar candidate but she needs your support in this contested race.

I urge you to join me in voting Peterson for Town Council on Tuesday, April 8.
