Stand your ground vote concerns reader

To the Editor:

With elections just around the corner, it is time to take a look at which candidate does not stand for your constitutional Rights.

This past term, the House of Representatives voted to repeal New Hampshire’s Stand Your Ground Law. This law required you to flee a dangerous situation with a criminal than defend yourself in a place that you have a right to be. This law would make you turn your back and run, instead of standing up for your rights as well as the rights of anyone else that might be with you. Fortunately, the state Senate did not pass this horrific bill.

Merrimack voters, you had one state rep. who voted to take your constitutional right away, and that was Rep. Brenda Grady. Rep. Grady does not believe in the Constitution and does not believe in your ability to defend yourself or your family.

Merrimack deserves better than a representative who does not stand for your rights; vote Rep. Brenda Grady out of office.
