Thank you to Merrimack Lions for scarecrow fundraiser
To the Editor:
I just wanted to offer a thank you to the Merrimack Lions for their recent scarecrow fundraiser.
Traveling up and down Daniel Webster Highway and throughout the town itself, the creativity and whimsy of these scarecrows is a wonderful sight.
This fundraiser has certainly entertained all who see these scarecrows, as well as all who contributed to making them individual for their home/business.
Once again, thank you, Merrimack Lions, for your time and efforts, and I hope your fundraising goal was exceeded.
I know that I am already looking forward to next year’s scarecrows.
