Plant sale supports Nashua-Merrimack agency
To the Editor:
The Good Cheer Society would like to thank everyone who supported our annual holiday poinsettia and Christmas cactus plant sale and made this event another wonderful success.
This money (over $3,000) is used to support Nashua’s Home Health Care and Hospice organization and the Hospice House in Merrimack.
The Good Cheer Society began in the late 1800s with Nashua’s first visiting nurse program.
It has evolved over those many years and still is the primary source of funding, so we really appreciate all our southern New Hampshire supporters, as well as our many Massachusetts friends.
