Troop 401 thanks auction participants

On behalf of the members of Boy Scout Troop 401 and their families, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the attendees of the auction and the following outstanding businesses, whose generosity made the 10th annual Silent Auction and Dessert Buffet on April 2 a great success.

The proceeds of this annual fundraiser enable the troop to provide a variety of programs for the Scouts to enjoy. Along with regular campouts, Appalachian Mountain range hikes and adventures, they also participate in a three-day bike trip to Cape Cod, a four-day wilderness canoe trip to Lake Umbagog, rocket building, an overnight to Battleship Cove, and a trip to NYC and the USS Intrepid, just to mention some of their activities.
They participate in community service projects to the Merrimack Public Library, the St. James Community Food Pantry and Merrimack’s Adopt a Road. The Scouts attend summer camp at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation in Gilmanton Iron Works, attend the BSA National Youth Leadership Training Program and participate in the Daniel Webster Council activities.
