To the Editor:

On behalf of the Merrimack Garden Club, we would like to thank all our members who contributed to our successful plant sale held June 11.

The group worked many, many hours digging, potting, watering, setting up, preparing and selling all the plants we had available. Our new members jumped right in and were a tremendous help. Proceeds provide horticultural education for our members, as well as providing funds for community projects.

A big thank you to our local vendors who generously donate various items to our raffle table. Contributors include Frizz Homes Gardens, Merrimack Flower Shop, D.W. Diner, Pets Choice, Homestead Restaurant, Common Man, Amherst Garden Center, Bedford Fields, Sal’s Pizza, Sweet Ginger, Flower Fused Glass from Paula Garvey of Rosie’s Roses, Depot Farm Stand, Reeds Ferry Lumber, Reeds Ferry Market, Hair Cutters, Drapoel, Bliss by Design, Alchemy, Handcrafted Barn Board Planters locally made in Merrimack by Stan from Savage Hound, a mystery box, a peach Adirondack chair, with floral hat and matching garden tools and many more items donated by members.

A very special thanks to all our customers who come year after year. We love to help you with your garden purchases and appreciate your shopping with us.
