Donohue scores for Daniel Webster lacrosse in victory
Merrimack native Sean Donohue scored a goal during Daniel Webster College’s 10-1 rout of Johnson State on Sunday at Raider Field.
DWC outshot the Badgers 45-15 overall (27-9 on goal) and earned an edge on groundballs (33-30) while going 2 for 2 on the man advantage and held Johnson State scoreless on five opportunities.
The Eagles led 3-0 after one, 6-0 after two and 8-1 after three. Ho, Todd and Mason would score in the opening frame, while Abbott, Mason and Beard struck in the second.
Keenhold put Johnson on the board 1:47 into the third stanza before Brad, and Mason followed. Both Shanahan and Donohue closed out the scoring 25 second apart late in the fourth.
