The proceeds of this annual fundraiser, enables Troop 401 to provide a variety of programs for the scouts to enjoy. Along with regular campouts, Appalachian Mountain Range and Monadnock Range hikes and adventures, they have also participated in a three day bike trip to Cape Cod & Nantucket, a five day wilderness canoe trip to Lake Umbagog, NH, an overnight to Battleship Cove, and a trip to NYC and the USS Intrepid just to mention some of their activities. They participate in Community Service projects to the Merrimack Public Library, The St. James Community Food Pantry and Merrimack’s Adopt a Road and our Charter Organization, St James UMC in Merrimack. The Scouts attend Summer Camp at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH, attend the BSA National Youth Leadership & Educational Training Program and participate in the Daniel Webster Council Activities.
