Playoff fever grips Bedford Rec hoop league

It’s now playoff time in the Bedford Rec Basketball League and teams are cranking it up. Here’s a look at the early-round

action.

Boys Grades 3-4

RJG Builders 25,

LAER Beauchemin Realty 8

Luke Rodgers took home the RJG Defensive Player of the Game honors, while Joseph Leland set some monster screens to help Dominic Juric net a game-high eight points.

Paxton Vittengil, Camden Santos, Tobias Summers, Jackson Jodoin and Alex Stewart played strong defense for LAER Beauchemin.

Luke Rodgers (2), Denys Savenko (2), Tyler Chun (4), Ian Barad (4), Daniel Lewis (6) and Sam Barad (7) all scrorced in the game.

TF Moran 20, Mega-X 12

Myles Cole, Myles Lamb, Owen Sprague, Drew Benjamin and Pierce Connolly led the balanced attack from the

winners.

NH Eye Associates 23,

TF Moran 15

TF Moran ran out of gas in the semifinal loss. Cole, Lamb, Sprague, Benjamin, Connolly, Eddie Bishop, Jack Bergeron, Jackson Delisle, Hunter Masse and Pierce Connolly.

Girls Grades 3-4

LAER Beauchemin Realty 15,

Medical Eye Center 12

LAER was led by Ryan Burke with six6 points. Libby Fox had five, and Brynn Linehan had a bucket.

LAER Beauchemin Realty 17, Elliot Orthodontics 12

Ellie MacDonald and Ariel Berger helped the winners amp up the defense in their second straight playoff victory.

Bernstein & Mello Law 14,

Carlsen Systems 6

Lucia Baldi had a great assist, to go along with her seven points, when she fed Zoe Bernstein for the final bucket of the game in a big semifinal win. Lexi Murphy had a sweet pass to Paige Gabriel for her basket while Sarah Merhalski went coast to coast for a basket. Megan Labrie, Abbie Lafortune and Addie Wallat played great all-around games.
