HB Soccer Club tryouts will take place next week

The Hollis Brookline Cavaliers Soccer Club is holding open soccer tryouts for all interested boys and girls U9 through U13-plus (born 2008 and older) the week of June 13 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hardy field complex across from the Lawrence Barn on Depot Road in Hollis. Times are dependent on the player’s age group. To register and secure your child’s spot at tryouts please visit www.hbcavs.org.

Teams will be organized by assessed skill level and registered in the appropriate competitive divisions of the NHSL. Why drive when you can get access to New Hampshire’s best pro soccer coaches on actual grass fields minutes from home? Working with our middle and high school soccer programs to develop our best local talent the Cavs is a great opportunity for young soccer players interested in playing similarly skilled competition.

Daniel Webster College soccer clinic coming soon

Daniel Webster College Men’s Soccer team will be hosting a summer soccer clinic. Coaches and players from the team will be conducting fun and unique soccer activities throughout the week. The goal of the DWC Soccer Clinic is for players to have fun while improving their soccer skills at the same time. Curriculum and drills will be adjusted to meet the needs of the groups. Please bring a ball, shin-pads, cleats, and plenty of water. All participants will also receive a free T-shirt.

Camp takes place Aug. 8-11 from 4 to 6 p.m. for boys and girls ages 6-14. All players can register by email to Matt Correia at Correia_Matt@dwc.edu. Players may also register at the clinic.
