The Hollis Brookline wrestling team began its season on Wednesday and figures to be a strong competitor once again in Division II.

The Cavaliers return Clement Sherwood, who finished second at the Meet of Champions at 220 pounds and earned a trip to the New England Championships.

Leading the way with Sherwood will be Cameron Dreyer, who was the fourth-place MOC finisher at 106 pounds last year, along with Zack Brickner, who claimed fourth place at 113 pounds.

HB opened at home against Souhegan and Spaulding on Wendesday, but results were not available by Hollis Brookline Journal presstime. The Cavs travel to the Red Raider Invitational on Saturday.
