HB Cavs boys U9 team earns 8-6 win over Bedford

The Cavs traveled to Bedford to play a strong team with only one defeat in seven games this season, but emerged with an 8-6 victory. Goals from Colten Herrera and John Constantine put the Cavs up two before Bedford replied with two of their own. Herrera added two more to complete his hat trick before halftime but again Bedford hit back in a see-saw battle. In the second half, the Cavs tightened up defensively and three more goals from Constantine secured the win before Greyson McSeveney capped it off with a goal. Three HB teams advanced to the playoffs – Boys U11 & U14 and Girls’U13 teams will be playing for the championship titles in their respective divisions in Concord this weekend.
