The Merrimack Cardinals Jr. Pee Wee football team completed an undefeated season with a thrilling triple overtime victory against the Amherst Patriots last weekend. Defensively, it was a battle. Casey Craven, Drew Vail, John McLain and Vincent Robideaux made game saving tackles. Cardinal QB Hayden Moses completed 2 of 5 passes including a 60-yard TD to Kaiden Orme. Zachariah Twardowsky ran in the winning TD in the third overtime for a 26-20 final. The Cardinals will advance to the regional playoffs and play Portsmouth, R.I., next weekend at Gill Stadium in Manchester.
