Johnson has success in girls meet
The Merrimack Youth Wrestling program sent third grader Ivery Johnson to compete in the Girls Only K-8 Youth and 9-12 High School Wrestling Championships in Salem, Mass on Feb 6, and she didn’t disappoint.
Johnson came in first place in her bracket and third overall with one pin on the day. Johnson fell in her second match by a mere one point against a girl that outweighed her by 30 pounds.
