To the Editor:

On March 11, my votes will go to Aaron Day for School Board and Matt Philips for Town Council.

We are fortunate to have these two bright and accomplished men willing to step forward to serve us. Aaron Day has been educated at Harvard and Duke. Matt Philips has a degree from Princeton. Both have a list of business accomplishments. They each bring energy, careful analysis, and outside-the-box thinking that will help provide innovative solutions to the needs and issues we face here in Bedford.

They have called for a thoughtful review of spending and resources, recognizing that a community must serve the needs of all, including our senior citizens and those with limited incomes. It is essential that honesty, transparency and fair dealings are maintained in providing the needs and in spending the precious resources of all those in the community.

Especially if you are a senior citizen living on a fixed income or an individual with limited financial resources and are looking for fair dealings and careful use of your tax dollars, your votes should go to Aaron Day for School Board and Matt Philips for Town Council on Election Day, Tuesday, March 11.
