To the Editor:

As your newly elected member of the School Board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out to vote on Tuesday, March 11.

I am humbled by the tremendous outpouring of support, and am grateful to the many neighbors and friends who gave me advice, encouragement and assistance. I would also like to thank the many residents who allowed me to place a campaign sign on their property.

Education is the most important gift that Bedford can give to the next generation. In return, a strong school system keeps our community vibrant and ensures that our country will remain strong and competitive for generations to come. Bedford has an award-winning school system.

I would like to thank the voters for instilling their trust in me to help maintain and build upon that excellence. I look forward to serving you and I welcome your questions and comments.
