To the Editor:

Linda Gould is running for her second term as state representative, and I’m happy to support her once again. The first time she ran, I knew she was a neighbor with a strong background in education and volunteer service. Now that I’ve seen her representing us in Concord, I know that her temperament is as valuable as her experience. She’s thoughtful and respectful. Our government could use more of that.

Linda’s experience as an outdoorswoman and member of the NH Bike-Walk Alliance led to her appointment to the House Resources, Recreation and Development Committee. You may have even seen her out on her bike around town! She’s been a strong voice for us on other issues as well. For example, as a retired teacher, she knows that students and parents are best served by local control of education. She also knows that New Hampshire families and small business owners can’t afford more taxation. Linda raised her family here and she wants New Hampshire to continue to be a good place for families to grow and thrive.

We can be proud of the way Linda Gould has represented Bedford at the State House. Let’s re-elect her so she can keep up the good work.
