I would like to introduce a volunteer opportunity that I have found to be very rewarding. It is the AARP Foundation Tax- Aide program, and it offers free tax-filing help with special focus on low income and elderly taxpayers. You don’t have to be a tax expert to join; free training will be provided on tax law and the computer system. In addition to tax preparers, they need friendly people to greet taxpayers, help organize their paperwork and manage the flow of service.
