Register Your Float for Merrimack’s Annual 4th of July Parade

Preparations are now underway for the Town of Merrimack’s Annual 4th of July Celebration. The Town of Merrimack’s Annual 4th of July Parade is organized by the Parks & Recreation Department and is one of the larger Independence Day Parades in the State of New Hampshire. The 4th of July Parade features a wide range of bands, militia units, clowns, local businesses, community organizations and much more.

We are just over one month away from this year’s festivities and we are looking for people, businesses and community organizations to come and be a part of this Annual Town Celebration. Participating can be as easy as putting a decorating a bicycle or a vehicle and just riding along or can be a highly decorated float. It is a great way to show your patriotism and get some free advertising for your business or organization at the same time! We want the parade to be a fun, family friendly event for all to enjoy and the more local groups that participate, the better! There is no cost to participate but advanced registration is required.

The Annual 4th of July Parade will take place this year on Thursday, July 4th and the parade will begin promptly at 1:00 pm from at the Merrimack Commons Parking Lot which is located at 515 Daniel Webster Highway. The parade travels south down Daniel Webster Highway to the center of Town where it turns right onto Baboosic Lake Road. It travels past Mastricola Elementary School and then turns left onto O’Gara Drive and ends at Merrimack High School.

We understand that you might have other commitments on this important holiday, but hope that you will consider joining our spectacular line-up of drum and bugles corps, marching bands, and other entertaining participants!

If you are interested in participating in this year’s event, please visit our website, scroll down to the Parade Registration Information and complete the online form. The deadline to enter a float is Friday, June 29th.
