The Early Days of Education In a One Room School House
The Merrimack Historical Society will feature a presentation on education in a one room schoolhouse. Jean Hawxwell Paul is a retired Nashua Elementary school teacher who is a Historical Interpreter at Nashua’s 1841 one room schoolhouse. She will share her knowledge of education and the tools educators used.
The presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 15 at 7 PM. Join us at the Historical Society’s headquarters in the 1847 schoolhouse at 520 Boston Post Road in South Merrimack. This is a unique program that is FREE to the public. There will be a short business meeting at 6:30, prior to the program. Refreshments will be served and parking is available in the church parking lot across the street.
