The Altrusa Club of Merrimack Valley conducted a Food Drive at Market Basket, Somerset Plaza, in Nashua on Saturday, September 26, 2020 to benefit the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter (NSKS). The patrons of the store were overwhelmingly generous. More than 3600 pounds of food were collected, as well as assorted paper products, diapers, wipes, baby formula and hygiene items. In addition, cash donations in the amount of $349.00 were forwarded to NSKS. Altrusa is very thankful to Market Basket for allowing us to host this event in Nashua and extremely grateful for the support of its customers.
