Manchester – Barbara E. (Bayles) Nedeau, 63, of Maple Street, died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

Born on December 8, 1947 in Brattleboro, VT, Barbara was the daughter of Herbert and Ruth (Spaulding) Bayles. She’d lived in Greenville, Wilton, and even Chicago, before moving to Manchester in 2010.

Barbara had worked for Hitchiner Manufacturing in Milford, EPVA, and Walmart. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and collecting postcards, but most especially being with people.

She is survived by 3 children, Scott Nedeau of Allenstown, Steven Nedeau of Pembroke, and Kelly Nedeau of Nashua; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 2 sisters, Marjorie Rocca of Lyndeborough and Sharon Pierce of Brookline; nieces and nephews; and two close friends, Peggy Pelletier and Violet Goupil.

A memorial open-house will be held on November 5, 2011 from 11 am to 4 pm at the home of Steven Nedeau, 7 Noyes Street, Pembroke. Family and friends of Barbara are welcome. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack or the Diabetes Foundation in Barbara’s name.
