E. Marilyn (Towle) Grady, 82, of Manchester died February 20, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Manchester on September 30, 1930, the daughter of Llewellyn and Elsie V. (Collins) Towle. She was educated in the local school system and graduated from Manchester Central High School.

Prior to retirement in the mid 1990s, she had operated her own day care center at her residence for many years.

Marilyn loved dancing, gardening, and caring for indoor plants. She took pride in keeping her home neat and organized and loved spending time with her family more than anything else.

Family members include her husband of 63 years, Robert E. Grady of Manchester; her children, Karen A. Van Der Berken and husband David of Bedford, Robert E. Grady Jr. and wife Connie of Tuscon, AZ, Douglas B. Grady and wife Jane McMahon of Concord, NH; her grandchildren, Robert E. Grady III, Erin Brown, Grant Van Der Beken, Clark Van Der Beken, Tyler Grady, and Kellianne Grady; her great-grandchildren, Marshall, Ryker, and Logan Brown; her sister, Carol Towle Wentworth of Rochester, NH; her half-brother, Mark and Laura Towle of Cocoa, FL; nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Towle.

Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester, will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm. The memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10 am, followed by committal prayers and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
