Lelia M. (Osgood) Sevigny

BEDFORD – Lelia M. (Osgood) Sevigny, 79, died August 12, 2014 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home.

Lelia was born in Manchester, on August 20, 1934, the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothea (Peterson) Osgood.

She lived in Bedford for 47 years.

Lelia volunteered in the Bedford school system, later becoming a paid aide in the school. She later became a teacher’s assistant at Liberty Schoolhouse Childcare in Bedford for many years.

Lelia loved her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. She loved being outdoors, and enjoyed walking every day. Lelia loved animals and had many of her own, and befriended many neighborhood pets as if they were her own.

She was predeceased by her sister, Anna Mailhot.

Lelia is survived by her five children; her son, Raymond Sevigny, and his wife Judy, of Allenstown; her daughter, Dorothea Lavoie, of Allenstown; her daughter, Marguerite MacIver, of Bedford; her son, Paul Sevigny, Jr., and his wife Anne, of Goffstown; and her son, John Sevigny, and his wife Hiedi, of Hooksett; six grandchildren, Christopher Sevigny, Stacie Lavoie, Gage Sevigny, Lelia MacIver, Sadie MacIver, and Russell Sevigny; a great-
granddaughter Miley Rondeau, and her sisters, Barbara Tsantoulis, and Beatrice Cote; and many nieces and nephews.

Lelia’s family would like to say THANK YOU to the staff at Hillsborough County Nursing Home for all the love and care they had given her in the past 3 years.
