Cat with collar now a welcome sight
To The Editor:
I ride through Wilton center quite frequently and have always thought how inhumane to have a cat outdoors with an e-collar on. It makes that cat defenseless. I would never, however, take it upon myself to just remove the collar.
I was very happy to read the letter regarding why this cat, Jimmy, has this collar on.
I certainly felt horrible for having those thoughts about his owners.
I am in strong support of rescues and treating your pets as family, not animals.
I now truly understand the situation and feel so much better and seeing Jimmy now will be a welcoming sight to me.
