To the Editor:

Po Lil George. Last week a 4-month-old baby turkey was struck by a motor­ist at the intersection of Route 13 Mont Vernon Road and North River Road. He was left injured in the road for more than an hour and a half. He was res­cued off the road and later taken to a wilfdlife rehabilitation facility. The re­habilitator feels George was being tak­en care of by people and hopes he can be reunited with his family as it is un­likely he can be released into the wild.
