Local Girl Scout gives thanks for assistance with project

Hello, my name is Erica Faucher, and I have just completed my Girl Scout Silver Award Project. It is the second highest award a Girl Scout can earn.

At the MCAA (Milford Community Athletic Association), I created an equipment swap. The equipment swap works by customers bringing their old equipment to trade in for new/gently used equipment. For example, one may bring a too-small pair of cleats and trade them out for a larger pair.

I held two equipment swaps at the MCAA, and more will come. I also built a trophy case for the MCAA to display their trophies. I am so glad that residents of the Milford area were able to contribute to helping my project!

I would also like to thank SHARE, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Replay, Milford Rotary, Chris Mazzeo, Jason Cilo, Kate Luba, Adam Grill, Rob Howard, Sarah Curfman from my Girl Scout Troop – Troop 10111 – Jessica Goodine, Ken Goodine, and my parents for supporting my project! Thank you so much!
