As both a small environmental business owner and a Nashua resident, my hat is off to Melanie Levesque, candidate for state Senate, for putting together a renewable energy roundtable last night at the Lawrence Barn in Hollis.
Dick Swett, former congressman/ambassador and two local solar experts provided credence to the economic doability of solar power and the impending disaster of reliance on fossil fuels.
Melanie showed how candidates should campaign. Instead of blowing their own horns, they should herald their constituents to hear the facts. I support Melanie’s efforts to focus on the problems we face, and knowing her, she will continue this practice of listening to concerns and seeking expert advice.
There are too many people already with their heads in the sand.
