To the community

The New Year is a good time to look back and acknowledge those who have helped us to achieve so much for families in need in Greater Nashua this past year. We at the Front Door Agency are especially grateful for the strong support from area Rotary Clubs whose members often work tirelessly behind-the-scenes. We truly appreciate the overwhelming assistance and engagement from Rotarians who give generously and often to support our mission.

This past year alone, members of Rotary Club of Nashua West “adopted” 50 children from our Holiday Santa Program, ensuring those kids received warm clothing and toys and bringing much-needed hope to their parents. They also gave the Agency a grant for desperately-needed vacuum cleaners for our Transformational Housing clients.

The Souhegan Valley Happy Hour Rotary Club created a community challenge to benefit area non-profits at their Halloween Party, resulting in a $5,000 donation to our Agency–thanks to generous support from their members, guests and our own board members. Those funds were invested in single mothers who are struggling to overcome crises and rebuild their lives through education. The Souhegan Club also helped sponsor a holiday party for the children in our Transformational Housing and provided a special visit from the “big guy.”

The generous Rotarians at Rotary Club of Nashua took part in a Giving Tree to donate much-needed household and personal care items for families in our Transformational Housing Program, giving everything from batteries to laundry detergent to toiletries.

Members of the Hollis-Brookline Rotary gave the Front Door Agency a $2,500 grant to help with fence repairs at one of our Transformational Housing properties, giving children a safer outdoor play space.

Rotarians are known internationally for pouring their passion, time and talents into their local communities to complete projects that have a lasting impact. We are so thankful and honored that our local Rotary Clubs recognize the importance of our work to stabilize and transform families and continue to partner with us in building a stronger community.
