Article 2 (Question 1) merely replaces the existing zoning articles with the proposed articles with minor changes. For example, in section 408.00 it replaces the name USDA Soil Conservation Service with the new name of the agency being USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service.

Article 3 (Question 2) replaces the existing article on PRDs (Planned Residential Development) with the proposed language that it shall be only for elderly housing for those with an owner occupant age 55 or older. It also reducing the area in which it is allowed from all of Rural Lands 1 to a corridor of 1000 feet on either side of Route 31 and it allows it in the Village District.

Both articles are supported by the Planning Board and Selectmen.
