More transparency

We are lucky to live in a town where we are able to voice our opinion, and more importantly, vote on important issues in our town. I encourage all of you to vote on March 12. If you are a Milford resident, and are not registered to vote, I encourage you to register. It’s a privilege too many people don’t take advantage of.

For those of you who I have not met yet, I would like to introduce myself. I am running for Board of Selectman. I have lived in Milford for 42 years, and am passionate about our town. In 2018/2019 I was on the Budget Advisory Committee, as well as the Capital Improvement Plan Committee. Previously, I served on the Budget Advisory Committee for the school.

I feel that the town administration and board of selectmen need to be more transparent with the taxpayers. I would like to see information more easily accessible, and I believe the administration and Board of Selectman need to be held accountable for their actions and decisions.

If you would like to see more transparency in our town, I ask for your vote. Help me make our town the best it can be. I look forward to seeing you at the polls on March 12.
