Thank you
Throughout 2019, the Milford Historical Society created an event for every Open House to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our move into the Carey House. None of the events would have been possible without the support of financial contributors, visitors who came to enjoy them or the donation of immense amounts of time and work from our volunteers. In addition to the Open House events, work continued on organizing and cataloguing our extensive collection. The popular Eye-Spy game was a well-attended Pumpkin Festival event for the 4th year in a row and for the 1st time the Society had a booth on the Oval during the Festival. We also presented 4 public programs and one very special event with the Smithsonian Institution. When there were a few minutes to spare, the fundraising calendar was created and distributed to the many local businesses that willingly sell it for us. It is an understatement to say that 2019 was a busy and exciting year!
In addition to our hardworking volunteers, thanks go to the following for their part in making 2019 such a successful year:
The Rotary Club of Milford
Denise Fox
Mrs. Lindsey Bates’ Honors History Class
Rev. Dr. Alex Gondola
Arthur Keyes Memorial Trust
The Kaley Foundation

A very special thank you goes to Kathy Cleveland for attending and publicizing our events for the past several years. We wish her well in retirement.
The Milford Historical Society is an all volunteer non-profit organization. Without the support of members, visitors and contributors we would not be able to continue our mission of preserving and promoting the history of our wonderful town. Thank you for all of your contributions.
