We need Chandley’s voice

Anyone who knows Shannon Chandley, who has represented NH Senate District 11 in the NH Legislature for the past two years, knows that her character is beyond reproach. She is also an incredibly hard worker for all her causes. She demonstrates civility and works towards bipartisanship. Beyond that, her two year stint as our Senator shows a remarkable list of achievements for such a short time. These achievements include helping to pass a budget that prioritized quality public education, property tax relief, public safety and a strong state economy. She has also been a champion for NH’s environment especially in terms of taking the lead in passing legislation to reduce the harm done by PFAS in our water.

Shannon’s opponent recently accused her of wanting to raise taxes. The truth is that Shannon is opposed to an income tax and a sales tax and has voted to lower property taxes. The 12.5% small business tax referred to by opponents (which will not go into effect until revenues fall below a certain threshold) was voted for and supported by Democrats and Republicans and Governor Sununu approved it as well.

It is disappointing that Shannon’s opponent chooses to totally misrepresent her record rather than focus on his own record. I welcome you to compare their records on the web site: www.newhampshirefacts.org, or learn more about Shannon at www.shannonchandleyforsenate.com.

Please vote for Shannon Chandley. We need her voice for us in the NH Senate.
