Kellie-Sue is a strong independent woman who is not afraid to bring forth concerns of the residents of Wilton. Kellie-Sue has listened to and brought forward the many concerns that the residents of Wilton have had. She has spent numerous hours researching and speaking with others to provide a basis to give an informative decision.

Kellie-Sue along with her other board members have supported our Emergency Services with their needs. Kellie-Sue is used to volunteering numerous hours to the many committees in Town. This goes back to 1992 as the wife to a volunteer of our Fire Department and Ambulance Services, there have been many sacrifices that she had holding down the fort. These include interrupted holidays, meals, family functions, all of which our volunteer families bear the brunt of and which they are happy to do.

It’s not an easy position to be a Select Board member. There are 3,896 residents (2020 Census) give or take a few that all have some different opinions of who, what, where, when or why their particular point of view should be brought forth.

Then each item is researched as to the legality, cost to the taxpayers, impact on the community and is it feasible. This is where tough questions are asked of the Department Heads because everybody wants a piece of the pie. We have to remember that our quaint little Town of Wilton only has so much pie to divvy out before it effects our tax dollars.

So in closing, I ask that you support my wife, your first Selectwoman, who is not afraid to ask the tough questions, weigh out the facts, and support every resident concern.
