I am writing to you today in support of Dan Veilleux as a candidate for the Souhegan High School Board. I met Dan over a decade ago as our daughters were classmates at the old Colonel Shepard Montessori school in Milford. Over the years I’ve found Dan to be an intelligent, thoughtful, compassionate and fair leader. Dan has an unwavering support of the Amherst community and our schools in particular. Dan does not shy away from asking hard questions and advocating for the best possible resources for both our students and our faculty. Dan is also open minded in an increasingly partisan environment. I trust Dan to be the pragmatic and objective board member that the students, faculty and tax payers all deserve. I will proudly cast my vote for Dan on March 8th and I hope others will as well.
