The people of the United States need to start showing compassion and as much empathy for their fellow neighbors as they do for issues that arise in other lands.

We need to start caring for one another regardless of race, creed, age or which political party you are in. I am tired of turning on the news and hearing some politician(s) blame the other party for things not getting accomplished. They are not getting accomplished because of the elected person’s ego. They need to remember they are elected and are working for the American people not themselves. If they don’t want to work the people who voted for them then maybe it is time to move on.

Let’s get back to decent civility and courteous towards one another. Let’s teach children right from wrong. Take accountability if we make a mistake. Just get back to the basics of decency.
