Milford Rotary Swim Meet turns 50
Fifteen teams took to the pool over the weekend of July 18 to participate in the 50th Milford Rotary Swim Meet and three came out on top – Concord YMCA in Division I, the Castaways of Winchendon, Mass., in Division II and the Nashua Boys and Girls Club Pride in Division III.
Goss Park of Wilton finished a close second in Division I, just 12 points behind the winners from Concord, while the Hampshire Hills squad was runner-up in Division III.
Individually, Milford Keyes Swim Team’s Jamie Freud and Katelyn Rakiey; Hampshire Hills of Milford’s Mikael Rontala, Jack Januario and Ivan Dodor; and Goss Park of Wilton’s Samuel Bailey all won three events.
