Solid wins for HB travel soccer
Here’s a look at the Hollis Brookline travel soccer teams’ victories for the pastweek:
Boys U10
The Cavaliers topped Inter-Lakes, 6-2. Avishant Ullal was everywhere, scoring four goals for Hollis Brookline.
Alton Williams and Jaskeerat Singh had the others, Singh’s first career goal at the club level.
Girls U13
Division 3
Hollis Brookline fought to the end, knocking off Merrimack, 3-2.
Maddie Acheson netted a pair of goals, and Sienna Anderson made an amazing run through the defense to break the 2-2 tie and provide the game-winner.
Julia Robbins and Madeleine Boudreau made an amazing play to set up the second Acheson score.
The Cavaliers also beat Litchfield, 2-0, behind goals from Boudreau and Keira Swart.Madeleine Leclerc earned the shutout in goal for 4-0-1 Hollis Brookline.
Boys U9
Hollis Brookline tripped up Tri-Town United, 3-2. Benjamin Leclerc scored a pair of goals and later was huge in net, saving a penalty kick to help preserve the victory.
Colin Garrity also had a goal for Hollis Brookline.
